Last Saturday we took a trip on the ferry. We went with Aaron, Rhona and Grace - she'd been asking to go on a boat for a while now and so they invited us along too. We drove down to Devonport and caught the ferry across to the city. It was pretty windy on the boat!

We had a little wonder around the city and caught the free city loop bus, so the kids thought they were getting even more treats :) This is Grace and Tilly on ferry back to Devonport.
Back in Devonport we got some really yummy brunch at Stone Oven and then went and played in the park. Tilly kept trying to catch the birds and was quite disappointed that they didn't want a "huggle"!
We all had dinner together at Aaron and Rhona's, followed by a nice relaxing spa with the kiddies while Adam and Aaron watched Rugby. Later on the kids got snuggled up in the lounge watching a movie while the grown ups chatted. A great way to spend our Saturday :)
